We are a global company with operating centers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and India.</div><h3>About the Role:</h3><div>The Cloud Security Consultant reports directly to the Cloud Security Practice Director, works with clients to advise clients, design and deliver technical engagements and serve as a technical SME for cloud security. This position helps lead the security strategy and vision of cloud and cloud/hybrid applications of all types, including Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), as well as the design and development of the Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform security architectures. </div><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Works with Digital, Engineering, Manufacturing, IT Infrastructure, and Application Development organizations to design appropriate cloud technology solutions and facilitates complete integration into the company environments. </li><li>Provides technical leadership and helps with best practices for cloud-based system and application security during the design and implementation. </li><li>Develops client security platform requirements during the design of the client’s cloud architecture. </li><li>Designs and develops security architectures for cloud and cloud/hybrid-based systems. </li><li>Possesses a firm understanding of Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform security offerings. </li><li>Designs and implements cloud-native and 3rd party architectures to meet business requirements with the appropriate security controls. </li><li>Assists clients with the development of strategy, roadmaps, and deployment plans for enterprise information protection and cloud platform usage </li><li>Maintains up-to-date, detailed knowledge of the IT security industry. </li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Significant experience with WIZ CSPM  building automated workflows for the platform </li><li>Extensive experience implementing security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions in a public cloud environment </li><li>Subject matter expertise with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT-related work </li><li>Retain one or more of the following certifications: Azure – Solution Architect, Azure Security Engineer, AWS – Solution Architect, AWS – Security Specialty, GCP – Cloud Architect or GCP – Cloud Security Engineer </li><li>Experience in solution architecture, DevSecOps practices, and cloud integration. </li><li>Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services. </li><li>Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, SAML, etc.). </li><li>Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, Python, or Java </li><li>2-3 years overall Cloud architect experience </li><li>Understanding of cloud security capabilities and risks </li><li>Strong security inclination </li><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in professional experience </li></ul><div><i><a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/cyderes">Cyderes</a></i> i<i>s an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
